We exist for one reason and one reason only. To empower adolescent girls with the mindset, tools and resources needed to successfully transition to womanhood with purpose and destiny in mind. That's all we do plain and simple!

Though our mission is simple, the process is not always as simple. Our young girls face so many challenges and they seem to have more questions than answers.

Here are some statistics to help you better understand why our organization exist.

In 2000, teenage birth rates were highest in Mississippi, Texas, Arizona, Arkansas and New Mexico.¹

Dallas County has the highest rate of teen pregnancy with South Dallas, Oak Cliff and Pleasant Grove leading the way. In 2003, 5,700+ births to girls ages 10-19 in Dallas County.²

1 out of every 58 fifteen year old girls gets pregnant.³

Although blacks represent 12% of the Texas population, they comprise 44% of the total prison and jail population.

Girls Living Life On Purpose, Inc. was birthed to answer the cries of young girls everywhere particularly in Dallas, TX. We focus on empowering young girls from the inside out and encouraging them to Dream Big. They provide the dream and we provide the resources and knowledge to start the process of making the dream a reality.

A girl who understands that she is valuable despite her current situation, A girl who understands the true meaning of her existence, A girl who understands her self-worth, A girl who believes her dreams are a prelude to the future is a girl who will live her life on purpose… Come on in and see what we have to offer…
